History of the Park
An original historic estate
In 1842, with Queen Victoria on the throne and Robert Peel as Prime Minister, Hemingford Park Hall, together with its accompanying coach house, stables and other outbuildings were constructed. These fine Grade II* listed buildings were designed by Decimus Burton who is widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading architects of the Victorian era.
